 Hi Gang,Just to let you know that I'll be printing this email string and sharing it with Brian's wife and daughters.  I'm sure they will be touched by the heartfelt loss to our community and the condolences expressed to his family.
Also, Brian knew of his cancer diagnosis only about 3 months ago.  When he opened up to me about it a month ago he was still seeking any possible treatment that could help (including Traditional Chinese Medicine).  It was just this past week that he could see the end was in sight and asked me in a text to write to all of you.  That night as I was getting ready to make the announcement I saw that he had done it himself.

It would seem apparent that when Brian made his last post here on the list he was either unaware of the severity of his illness or he intentionally omitted the advanced stage of his illness in an effort to spare us the emotional turmoil of his grim prognosis.
