<html><head></head><body>So, I'm in Guam right now, and happened to notice a small submarine outside a vistor center on the Navy base that seemed like an interesting thing to get a look at. Also at least one active duty sub tied up at the docks here. I wish I had planned my shore excursions a little better and/or had more time to explore and take a few photos for the group. My transportation options are limited, and I'm departing the island tomorrow morning. Hindsight is always 20/20. Interestingly, on the way here I sailed over the Challenger Deep of the Mariana Trench (10,920m). As a colleague put it, "Be careful close to the rail. Bad place to accidentally drop your phone."<div><br></div><div>I will be in Pearl Harbour in a few weeks, in case there is anything of interest there. Should get an opportunity to wander around.</div><div><br></div><div>I'm in this part of the world for RIMPAC 2026.
