<p><span><strong>Jon, count me in.</strong></span></p>
<p><span>Last week, I was in San Diego helping Justin Helland complete a successful dunk test for
<em>Toto</em>. During our off‑time, Justin and I visited several potential sites that would be involved if a Psub convention were held in San Diego. We looked at multiple ramp locations, conference rooms for presentations, and housing options on Vacation Island
in Mission Bay. Everything looked excellent.</span></p>
<p><span>Each ramp we evaluated could launch at least five boats at a time, which means no pressure from other boaters and plenty of room to work safely. There’s also some great stuff to see in the area, including the
<strong>Star III manned submersible</strong>, which now sits as a static display in front of the Birch Aquarium at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in La Jolla, California.</span></p>
<p><span>For those bringing spouses, Balboa Park offers a lot to explore, including several very good museums.</span></p>
<p><span>I will be there and would be glad to make a presentation. Nailing down completion dates for Psubs is notoriously difficult, but I will make every effort to bring the
<strong>R400</strong>. Eight months — the clock is ticking. I need to get back to my shop.</span></p>
