<div>Brian, I think the visibility issue may have been my lighting (-; also I made two trips to the lake back to back and the protection dome was super dirty. I removed and cleaned the dome and have also moved the light. I also discovered that putting the light in the clear tube makes it so the light broadcasts strait up and strait down. I am making a light shroud that I can adjust and hopefully all will be good in Gamma world.</div><div>Hank</div><div><br></div>

We figured that they were doing some work on the dam or something, but that was not the case. We hiked up to the lake and it looked crystal clear . Found out later that there was a slide on the other side of the lake and the silt was traveling on the bottom of the lake all the way to the outlet of the dam. It would then be more like a street light.</div><div>My camera is just a cheap thing, and I think I had my light angled down too much because the inside of the sub was lit up lol. If it supports white balancing using a reference, one trick I have seen done is to hold a white tablet in the manipulator jaws with the arm extended, and then zoom in on that through the viewport / dome to perform a camera white balance and better restore true colour on video.<br clear="none"><br clear="none">As far as lighting goes, one possible thing you could do to improve apparent clarity is to physically move your light sources outboard, so that they aim towards centre front at an angle, instead of being right in line with your viewing direction. <div>Cliff, sorry I managed to have it on the private setting, it should work now. Ignore the dirty protection dome. The travelling on gravel roads makes it super dirty. I need to address that. I am thinking also that I need to lower my light. I have been blaming a storm for bad visibility, but I am not sure if waves and wind can effect the clarity that much?
