<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0"><tr><td valign="top">Alec,<br/><br/>I was discussing that very issue with another member. A boat like this one (and it's owner) would undoubtably become "known" in local Coast Guard and State Ranger circles. All I's dotted and T's crossed as appropriate, registration numbers decals, safety equipment, placards, etc.  I also have the benefit of 24 years of Federal service which has given me the experience and patience to deal with all manner of bureaucratic knuckleheads. In the end one would smile sincerely and graciously point out to Agent Smith that this is no different than a replica war bird armed with dummy warheads. That fact, and prudent operations far from sensitive areas would be best.<br/><br/>I'm glad you like it too Alec, thanks! I Like it enough to pursue it further. It solves some issues with a bit of pizazz while concurrently maintaining the basic cylinder and battery pod

                                        <td valign="top"><div dir="ltr">Wow! As a design exercise I think that is fantastic, a work of art. But I don't think I'd want to actually show up in US waters with something that looked quite so much like real torpedoes. Both times I've taken Snoopy to Florida the coasties have shown up within minutes, and it's great to be in a boat that's painted fluorescent orange, as it makes it obvious I'm not a smuggler trying to keep a low profile!<div>

I've been working on a more <span><span>tow able</span></span> friendly concept for some time. Its a reduced scale Seehund replica @ 18' <span><span>length</span></span> with a 36" OD hull. Shes all electric (No Diesel) and she sure looks pretty in this concept sketch. I hope it comes through because I am unable to add it to my project page. <span><span>Incidentally</span></span>, the <span>Kriegsmarine</span> flag is for image effect and would not be flown in public.<br>
