    The nozzle/shroud has an inside diameter of around 303mm at the
    narrowest. Both the nozzle and the prop are replacement parts for
    the commercial DPVs made by dive-xtras. The shroud cost 70.50$,
    while the propeller kit is 67$. I bought it directly from dive-x
    here:
    <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.dive-xtras.com/cart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=42&idcategory=7">http://www.dive-xtras.com/cart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=42&idcategory=7</a>.

    A nice feature with the propeller is that it has variable pitch, and
    that the blades can be replaced individually. However, the blades
    are plastic and I'm not sure how well they would survive an impact
    or entanglement. The scooters from dive-x have a clutch to save the
    prop in case this happens. Here is a drawing of the propeller
    assembly used by dive-x:

    <br>
    I bought the motor from <a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="http://www.goldenmotor.com">www.goldenmotor.com</a>. I'm not impressed by
    the build quality, but it was very cheap and hopefully it will work.
    They also have 650w and 800w editions of the same motor, perhaps
    this would be suitable for use in a submersible?
