[PSUBS-MAILIST] PC2027 Registration OPEN - PLEASE REGISTER

Hello everyone,
While planning for PC2027 continues, we are opening up registration as well as publishing the schedule and speaker list.
To better understand the resources we will require, particularly for hotel rooms, dive operations and tours, we need everyone who is expecting to attend to please register ASAP.  Please go to the PSUBS.ORG home page and follow the PC2027 link to the convention event page.
Please note the following:
1) LODGINGWe are currently negotiating a group rate for lodging.  Current online published rates for January are between $140-200 per night. I should have a preferred hotel and a block of rooms by the end of September. If that rate range doesn't work for you, please book your lodging on your own through whatever normal channels you use.  
2) FLIGHTSSan Diego International (SAN) airport is going to be your destination of choice if you are flying into the area.
3) TRANSPORTATIONAll activities and events are within an approximate 15 mile radius of the airport.  Most are even closer.  Hopefully we can take advantage of some carpooling for people who can't rent a vehicle or don't want to drive in the area.
4) SUBMARINESWe currently have four vessels confirmed attending and are crossing our fingers the R-400 that Cliff Redus is building will be completed in time to be unveiled at the convention.  If anyone wants to bring their vessel, we need to know ASAP as the window is closing for planning purposes.
5) OTHER ACTIVITIESIf you want to extend your stay, or bring family, SeaWorld and San Diego Zoo are a stones throw from the airport (relatively speaking).  In fact, our "sea trials" in Mission Bay will occur immediately adjacent to SeaWorld.  There are lots of opportunity to make this trip an extended vacation.
As always, PC2027 is a free event, however participating in some activities may require sharing costs.  Attendees are responsible for their own transportation, lodging, meals, and other expenses.
