A timely thread as I'm building 2 lithium ion battery pods.  My 4 thrusters draw 45 amps each full power.The amount of time where I use my vertical & horizontal simultaneously will be limited, but still I will need contacts that can handle 90 amps.Perhaps I will use that split wire idea.Let me know how you get on thanks.Alan

I put the product images through chatGPT & it said that it is a per pin rating & that people will buy the 4 pin option & have 2 wires from the battery  positive to 2 connectors & same with negative.
There are a number of manufacturers on Alibaba that have higher rated connectors.
