[PSUBS-MAILIST] thruster

Just a heads up. I had to purchase another Minn-Kota motor and they don't
have the model I bought years ago when Jon made an order for the three of
us, a saltwater riptide 101, It has been replaced by a unit that is 4.5" in
diameter instead of 4" and the stub up that has the female threads is now
in the middle of the housing.
I bought it from the same place Jon got our "Northland Marine" and they
quoted a little over $500 but he still honored our Psubs discount which
brought it down to $405. There are pros and cons with living in Hawaii as
the shipping to get it here was $225! Oh well.
Unfortunately I now have to re fab a unit that will hold the thruster as
well as my steering linkage.
Keeps me out of trouble.
