 Alan, agreed, but Karl only uses one regulator.  I use two regulators.  But it might fail past the pool tests.

 Hank,that was how Karl was doing it. With the first stage & spring removed.I tried it but the mechanism wasn't sensitive enough. Not all first stages are the same though.I think it was 9 or 11 psi above ambient.Long time ago.Have a good dive.Alan
