Rick, I think it will be the same power, but justthinner windings and half the amps of the 12V, as it has to fit in to the same envelope. But it may pay to look at this and adjust the BOM in case the 24V option is more suitable for someone. Cheers Alan

Alan had mentioned the 24V option which makes sense but he also mentioned being twice the power and speed but if it was twice the speed, I am wondering if there would be a problem with the claw closing faster than you would want?

Hank, in hindsight the 24V motor would be taking up the same space & probably the same power as the 12V but drawing half the amps. It may be a preferred voltage for some people, so is an alternative. I am making enquiries on a waterproof actuator of the same power but NZ90-+freight new. Cheers Alan

Alan, we have to use a speed control with 12V because they are too fast, or at least fast enough.  They are also plenty powerful, even at half speed.Hank

Just had a look at the BOM for the Psub manipulator & it specifies a 12V Lenco actuator. Notice that they have a 24V version as well. Wouldn't this be better if it was available? Twice the power or speed.Alan _______________________________________________
