Good morning All,I received a call less than an hour ago from Terry (Brian's wife) letting me know that he passed away at about 2:00 PM yesterday afternoon.  He went peacefully to be with the Lord.
Brian told his wife to just keep his sub in storage but she doesn't see any sense in that.  She said that I could have anything off of it I wanted or could use for my sub.  My sub is almost finished but I'm sure that some of you out there can use some things like high pressure valves, plexiglass portholes (that have been annealed), scuba tanks (he had 10 of them!) and LOTS of lead.  I tried talking to Terry about the dollar value of some of those things but she didn't seem interested in the money she could get for them (I don't think she is looking long term right now).  I don't feel comfortable about just helping myself so I will be insisting on giving her some cash for the batteries from his boat (if I get them) and some of his books (I know his library had some good titles because I gave him some).  I'll have more information on what's available after I call her again in 2 weeks or so and will let all of you know at that time.
God bless, Jim

Brian, when my wife was diagnosed, we both thought the world had stopped and we shut down with all the fears and questions. But after 4 years I can tell you this, get the best medical treatment you can get and surround yourself with a team of experts to help you walk through this journey. Most importantly live each day to its fullest, surround yourself with those who make you the happiest and set aside those whom dont. There will be darker days, but move through them and find the  light in the next. I wish you well my friend.David Colombo

Brian, I'm sorry to hear this news.  You've done a lot of good work on your dream sub but we understand the importance of concentrating on fighting the cancer right now.  Fight it hard with all you can muster.  You are a faithful psubber, from the early days, and part of our psubbing family now.  Keep us informed and let us know how we can help.
Jon
