Okay, your gonna think I am nuts  but I am doing an experiment with lead acid batteries.  I am going to make a new cap that accepts a barbed hose fitting and water tight post enclosures , so I can fill the battery with oil and submerge it without an enclosure (battery pod)The hoses will be coiled and open to the sea.  Do you think it will work?Hank
