Scott,Is a Lithium battery pack just a bunch of small 1.5v batteries put together?  I could pressure test one to 3,000 psi in oil.  Hmmm this is an interesting idea.Hank

Does anyone on psubs have experience in oil compensating lithium batteries? The only time I have known this to happen is in James Cameron's deep sea challenger. I have tried to get answers from their engineering staff, but have had no luck so far.
Thank you,
Scott Waters
